A Card for all Challenges
Happy Sunday Afternoon. While we await the start of the Superbowl here at our house, I thought I'd do a quick blog post. I love when a single card can accomplish several things. First, I made my daughter a Valentine's Day card a full 9 day's before Valentine's Day. Sweet! Second, my friend Teresa Russell and I challenged each other to craft this weekend post it to our blogs......check! Third, the sketch challenge over at Paper Craft Weekend Challenge presented me with the perfect reason to use this stamp set I purchased at Michaels about a month or two ago. I usually do not splurge on stamps I just "love". They always need to be practical. Well, this was an exception. I love this stamp set and I know my daughter will love the card. Not at all a typical Valentine's Day card, but she won't care. The stamp set is from Inkadinkado. Ivory and black cardstock and Stamping Dimensionals from Stampin Up. Stazon Black ink and Promarkers used to color. Patterned paper from my stash purchased several years ago. Lacy ribbon purchased from sewing dept at Hobby Lobby. I seriously enjoyed making this, so thanks to Kristen, Teresa and Allison for motivating me to do it!
